blue cheese olives on skewer

 

Blue Cheese Dirty Martini 


Feel like a cocktail aficionado with this dirty martini recipe outfitted with blue cheese-stuffed olives.

 

PREP TIME: 5 minutes
SERVINGS:1 serving


Ingredients: 


3 blue cheese-stuffed olives
1 ounce vermouth
2 ½ ounces gin
½ ounce olive brine


Directions:


Slide the olives through a cocktail skewer, and set aside.

 

Pour the vermouth in a cocktail glass, swirl, and discard the vermouth.

 

Combine the gin, olive brine, and ice in a large shaker.

 

Shake well, until the shaker is chilled.

 

Strain into the prepared cocktail glass, and serve with the blue cheese-stuffed olive garnish.

Angel Food Cake Cocktail

 

 

ANGEL FOOD CAKE COCKTAIL
 
Four ingredients create the perfect illusion of fluffy, sweet angel food cake in a glass!
 
Serves: 1 drink (10 oz)
 
INGREDIENTS
  • 4 ounces vanilla vodka
  • 4 ounces amaretto
  • 1 ounce cranberry Juice
  • 1 ounce pineapple Juice
 
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Combine all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously until mixture is frothy.
  2. Pour over ice (or without ice) in a rocks glass and serve immediately. Enjoy!
    Optional: Garnish with a strawberry and slice of pineapple.

Angel Food Cake Mix Cookies 

 

Whether you’re a beginner baker or an experienced home cook with a sweet tooth, this Angel Food Cake Mix Cookies Recipe will have you baking delicious treats in no time.

 
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Makes 24 cookies
 

Ingredients

  • 1 box 16 oz, angel food cake mix
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Mix together cake mix, water and egg in a mixing bowl until combined well. Using a 2 tablespoon portion scoop, scoop batter onto prepared baking sheets, keeping cookies about 3" apart as they spread.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Use a new piece of parchment paper for each set of cookies you put into the oven.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool completely before removing from the parchment paper. Use a spatula to gently remove the cookie from the paper. The cookie will stick to the paper, but you should be able to get it off.

Angel food cake mix cookies only need 2 ingredients! A light dessert with just 5 Weight Watchers Smart Points, you can use any flavors you like.

Cook Time: minutes 
Total Time: 14 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 box angel food cake mix
  • 1/2 cup soda pop - we used pineapple soda

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Use a hand mixer to blend soda with angel food cake mix.
  • Spray non stick spray on a cookie sheet and put a heaping tablespoon of cookie mix on sheet. It will spread out quite a bit so don't put them close together.
  • Bake for approx. 9 minutes or until tops get very lightly golden brown. Remove and allow to cool on cookie sheet to firm up a bit.
  • Enjoy
