Well the groceries have already been delivered and put away. Sincere thanks to the Gods of Groceries that I received both the burramandi(?) and the bottom round I ordered so I have some cooking choices to make for the weekend.
Ninja Air Fryer Update: The dehydration feature is the bomb! I like those Lighthouse brand of dehydrated herbs and the one store that carried them around here dropped them (boo) but I diced up a bunch of green onions and let 'er rip . . . four hours later, dried onions! Quick lesson learned, stock up on potential items you want to dehydrate when they are in season as it's a bit stunning when you first peek in the basket and wonder where the rest of the stuff went . . . hee!
Hope everyone is doing well and feeling good. Have a great start to your weekend my friends . . . .
I have a dehydrator on my oven and they do get smaller. LOL. I also have a slow cook feature too.
Out of curiosity, what brand and type of oven do you have? I may be in the market soon or at least in the near future and would like recommendations from all.

@momtochloe, Did you cook the fish yet? LOL Hurry up!!LOL I want to hear how it was.
Uh-oh, no I did not @tiny 2 and it won't be today either as I already took something else out of the frozen tundra but I promise you I will make it this week! I did make an unexpectedly yummy turkey meatloaf over the weekend that involves using stuffing mix, please let me know if anyone would like the recipe and I'll post it.
And hey that is some fancy pants oven you have there my friend! Please know my oven came complete with an analog clock (non-working) but is fabulous at storing kitchen stuff I will never use/look at again . . .
You can always do what Carrie in S*-*X In The City did with her oven- store sweaters!

@RespectLife wrote:Okay that makes today IP Fishy Day???
Waiting for a review @momtochloe
I have smoked alot of fish, but never IP'd it yet!
@RespectLife, @momtochloe It is going to be air fryer fish( her new baby) not Instant pot. Is it possible to pressure cook fish? It seems like there would not be anything left? Oh my, can you imagine if the thing decided to blow with fish EWWWW! I had an egg incident a couple of years ago. I was boiling eggs and got a phone call. The eggs were forgotten and suddenly I heard popping noises. Boiled eggs plaster all over the kitchen and the ceiling was the worst.
What a mess. I do not leave eggs unattended these days.
I'm catching up so maybe this has been addressed but I will NEVER be without an egg cooker again. Mine came from the Q and cooks 6 eggs at a time and they are perfectly hard boiled every time. Mine is similar to this but I think it was a Mark Charles Misilli version. Elite Cuisine Automatic Easy Egg Cooker - QVC.com
I can fix an omelet or soft cook eggs in it as well but its main function in our house it to hard boil eggs.

I'm too thrifty/cheap to turn on the heat this early in the season.
Thank goodness for my trusty little Duraflame from the Q.
Anyone else have one?
We have two. One DD took one we previously had and another has one we gifted her. LOVE them!

@momtochloe wrote:Oh @ChiliPepper I love that one! Nice size and style good for you!
We love ours! We can heat a room we are in without pumping up the heat in the entire house. Our home is old so heating the entire house just to heat a room is not cost effective. Plus I love the look of a fireplace even if it is fake.

LOVE M-O-C's pictures, I wish I could post some on this phone.
I hope you had a peaceful day & something yummy for dinner!!!
Oh thank you my friend! We had a peaceful day. We had take out from a local smoke house restaurant for dinner. I was happy we didn't have to cook although DH bought steaks. We will have them tomorrow. Hope you had a great day!

When you come to visit me....hee!...we have a gas pass through fireplace upstairs!
It is 2 sided....the sunroom on one, the great room on the other.
We went w/ electric downstairs cuz DH didn't feel like installing a gas line.
He could, he didn't feel like it! LOL
@RespectLife oh gosh I didn't realize those electric fireplaces could be two sided. How cool is that and so gorgeous (and I wouldn't have to pay for a gas line in my almost all electric house) . .. .😄👍
I'm sorry @momtochloe , I either mispoke or lied!
My two sided fireplace is gas.
But they do make them!

@mustang66lady, My ovens are Electrolux double wall ovens. Both are equal in size and each one has all features.

I thought they only made vacuums! Cool!
I have double KA, and like you, both are fully featured and full size....but all the 'buttons' are on the top one...the entire panel is on the top oven.
It was a mandatory thing to get me to move/build this house! LOL
I am surprised how often I use both even when it isn't a huge gathering!
