Re: @Re: Quick Pot Sticker Soup

I thank you all for your prayers.

Sadly, my 10 mo old grandson came down with it yesty. He was spiking a 102 fever.

They took him in and he was given a good exam and tested positive.

The doc said she believes he will get through it and was otherwise, in no immediate danger.

They sent them home with extra meds and supplies since none of us can go to a store.

Your continued prayers would be so appreciated! Pls also pray my granddaughter does not get sick, but the doc said it could be probable since she is living in a house with positive ppl.

Good evening Kitchenettes!!!

Happy, happy Souper Shivery Saturday!!!

Souper windy & bitter cold. Not a lot of snow in my area today. North of me got hit really hard, white out conditions & high winds.

I just got home from work (job #2) a little bit ago. Glad that’s done. Getting some laundry done now. I think it’s time to settle in & try that eggnog & spiced rum I bought. I keep falling asleep before I make it. Tonight’s the night though LOL!!!

How is everyone feeling today? What are you all up to tonight?

@tiny 2

Waving “hi” my friend!!!

I hope you had a peaceful holiday.

Did you figure out who sent you the pears?

We had some really nice ones at work last year. A vendor sent them I believe. They were large, sweet and juicy! Unfortunately, we didn’t get any this year. I was really looking forward to those again.

VaBelle,

It's good to hear that you are well.  So many people we know of now have Covid.  It is amazing how fast this illness is spreading.

I pray you continue to be well.

tiny 2,

How wonderful that Santa came early and brought you those delicious pears!  Hope you enjoy them.

It has been good to hear about the Raleigh area from you as well.  It sounds like things really have changed since we lived in North Carolina.

Is The Irregardless still in business?  We have so many fond memories from that place.  Did Arthur Gordon (the original owner of The Irregardless) ever come out with a second cookbook?  I have the first one and have really enjoyed using it over the years.  The illustrations were nicely done.
