Ice, snow, wind - the whole kit & kaboodle today! I was very thankful to make it to work today!

Glad I can finally stay logged in & post, I kept getting bumped out & error messages coming up on my posts. I was beginning to take it personally LOL!

Haven't had a good old slurpy pizza in about two years.  Think maybe it's time to splurge.

  I'll wear red on Pizza Day, too, so the tomato sauce stains won't show so much!!

National Fettuccine Alfredo Day – February 7, 2020

Great pasta is not limited to spaghetti and marinara. Oh no!

One of the best pastas ever invented is Fettuccine Alfredo. This wondrous blend of butter and melted Parmesan cheese is just the thing to make your taste buds sing.

Alfredo Di Lelio invented the dish in 1908 to convince his wife to eat after giving birth to their first child.

Yep. If you’ve got the blues, this dish is good for what ails you. Heck, it’s great any time!

So let’s get out there and celebrate National Fettuccine Alfredo Day on February 7. We’ll eat and enjoy one of the world’s greatest pastas.

@RespectLife I have been downstairs too. My power went out yesterday around 2:30 and I am just getting it back. Google Raleigh damage from yesterday. Yep that was fun, NOT. I am not a live off the grid person LOL. I am going to go make a pot of nice hot coffee that I missed this morning and wrap up in the electric blanket a few minutes. Good Heavens, rough stuff.

I just heard on our weather report a foot is heading or is at Syracuse.

You be careful driving home!

It is a mess on us as well!  It is slippery and sleety and a very slow drive.

But neither rain, nor snow nor dead of night can keep me from my lunchtime

Diet Pepsi!   LOL

Mission accomplished but it isn't letting up!

My family is safe....crazy thunderstorms and winds.   Some small touchdowns were reported though.

And here we are have a snow storm and in NJ tornados!

Sis said it was 60 degrees but dropping.

We are 22 deg!

I'm so glad you are okay!  Zeesh, terrible weather everywhere!

I just got back from a sloppy lunch, I sure could use to snuggle up next you w/ a hot coffee and we could watch an old movie and stay safe!
