@Writer with Flair wrote:We did our bi-monthly Costco run tonight and saw lots of wonderful organic fruits and vegetables.
I also got a Carole Hochman three piece PJ sets (top, shorts, and short capris). I had gotten a set when they had them on sale in the flier before last for $13.99 (originally $17.99). Tonight, they were $12.97. They are 100% cotten, wash well, and are so comfortable. I highly recommend them. I got the pink combination. They also come in a navy and white or a blue and grey combo. You get one tee top that goes with a pair of shorts and a pair of capris.
The shorts are pink and white stripes.
I bought 2 sets of the pink. I don't have any "real" Carole Hochman, so I have no idea how these compare to what she sells in stores or at the Q. But these are very nice. I was going to look online today to see if they have any more. Love Costco's free shipping. Keeps me from having to navigate that zoo.
I ordered 2 more sets. They are no on sale online. They are still $18 each, still a great bargain.
VaBelle,
I agree. F.Y.I., her website is having a good sale of winter things, if you have any interest. I especially love her 100% cotton items. They wash well and don't seem to shrink.
They had these in grey and in blue, but I, like you, preferred the pink. The floral capris are particularly pretty. I think you'll like them.
I am kind of a new shopper to HSN but I purchased an Aria brand nightshirt that I just love. I think the quality of it is as good if not better than Carole Hockman. I also believe I read somewhere that the Aria brand could sometimes be found at SAM's or Costco. Just wanted to give you all an FYI in case you run across that brand and wonder about it at all. I did size up one size from my QVC size as I have found seems to be normal with HSN in the lines I have tried except the Marla Wynn line-I stay with my QVC size in her line unless the host says to go up. Hope this helps.
Mustang,
Just to let you know, T.J. Maxx, Marshall's, and Ross often have Aria and their prices are GREAT! I have not seen a 100% cotton fabric content in any Aria items, so I don't buy them. For some reason, their poly/cotten blend makes me too hot (I tried a nightgown once.).
I haven't seen any Aria at Costco, but that is not to say they don't get it sometimes. Now that I know you are looking for Aria brand items, I'll keep an eye out for you.

AWWW thanks @Writer with Flair
I am so very picky about what I sleep in. I used to purchase those satin nighties at Walmart that had spaghetti straps and were short. I absolutely hate to fight the item I am sleeping in and the sheets on the bed. Those satin nighties just made sleeping easy but I can't seem to find them any longer. I purchased HSN item #637-166. It meets my requirements about nothing around my neck, waist or arms. I sleep in this type of gown/nightshirt year round. There is one thing I can't stand and it is the feeling of restriction. I wrestle the devil out of the bed if I feel like I am being restrained!

Another new fave of mine at Aldi.........
Little 8-oz. tubs of Priano fresh mozzarella balls in marinade.
I buy large tubs of this stuff at Costco for party appetizers, but can't use that much cheese in oil and herbs any other time.
So glad to find these tasty little things in a size that is manageable for $3.29.
These are great for a crowd if you skewer one cheese ball with a little tomato on a toothpick. It's just another way of serving a caprese salad.

I love those Priano fresh mozzarella balls in marinade. I like to add a leave of basil between the cheese and tomato. So Good!
Now I can kick myself because I forgot to look for the butter you mentioned in your other thread while I was at Aldi's today. Phooey on me. Our Aldi's still had eggs at .58 cents a dozen though.

OH Dear! Don't be alarmed. I used to be the same but my situation isn't the same as yours. I certainly understand. That's not to say I won't return to wanting to have my freezer full again. But for us, we have a huge upright freezer and it is full-for 2 of us! EEEGADS! We do have friends who are more than generous with their berries, apples, peaches and cheeries when in season. They used to raise hogs and we bought that from them as well. But I don't cook every day as DH is often out of town and/or state. Our kids are gone and don't live close enough to invite for a meal without planning because they live far enough away that they would drive 1 - 3 or more hours just to get here. I think we are ready for a smaller freezer for just the two of us but then we usually hold all the holiday meals which that big freezer allows me to cook ahead and freeze, etc. It's the dog chasing its' tail.
@mustang66lady , Part of it is the way I was raised. We had very large gardens etc. There was always canning and freezing going on at certain times of the year. Now it is because I like to cook(therapy) and with RA there are times toward dinner my body is giving out. If I am in a bad flare it makes it easier to have things prepared on hand.

I completely understand. My first wasband and I were so poor it was all about stocking a freezer and pantry. It is something that is just ingrained in someone. I have arthritis problems as well and want easy meals too. Living where we do in the Midwest, winters can be harsh or mild-we never know. I stock each fall for the worst and donate in the spring if I have stocked too much. But we really don't like having a lot of meat frozen. That was not always the case, but seems to be the way we are drifting now. That may change again. Who knows. I don't mind as much in winter as I do in nicer weather. There is something about the taste and texture of fresh meat. At least burgers and steaks. Maybe because we grill more in nicer weather. But DH has been known to grill with snow on the ground too.

Souper hot & humid around here today & this week. Seems like a rough week & it’s only Wednesday LOL!
I do have tomorrow off which is awesome. I think I’ll try to sleep in a little bit, though I have so much to do.
What are everyone’s plans for tomorrow? Anyone having a party or anything? I’m gonna dig out the grill in the morning & get it cleaned up & ready. DD bought some veggie burgers at Aldis the other day to try. I have those chicken burgers & hot dogs too. Nothing fancy. I might skewer & grill some shrimp, some sort of spicy/sweet marinade.
Got a hankering for deviled eggs too.
