And Coldwater Creek.  Such a fabulous store.  After I lost my mom, between CC, Chico's and J.Jill they helped rebuild my wardrobe into something from this century (that fit).  I was so bummed when they hit such bad turbulence but I am so glad to hear they are making their way back as I would believe there is a market for their style of clothing.

     Thank you for your kind wishes.  Yes, we did have a restful and healthy weekend.  We are taking some time off  this week.  It has been good to get some rest and relaxation.

     I know that you and some of the other Kitchenettes are our Candle-Experts-In-Residence.  I am trying to find a a scent of candles and/or perfume that resmbles Crabtree & Evelyn's Jojoba fragrance that has been discontinued.  C & E described the scent as " a blend of golden jojoba oil and herbal and citrus fragrance."  That's not much to go on, but I thought you might have smelled the soap or other C & E items in the past.

I have no idea what this Crabtree and Evelyn scent smells like but my first thought or suggestion would be to point you to a candle company that I believe is located near where @RespectLife  lives.  The company is called Pure Integrity.  @RespectLife  could probably educate you on this company more than myself but I believe it is a Christain family owned small business.  I have tried a few of their candles and they are lovely.  If I posted a link, it would get poofed for posting a link to another business but you can just enter Pure Integrity candles in your search engine and you will be able to find their on line store.   Hopefully you will find what you are looking for there.

They are local here to our area.  Do have their own website and will ship.

Are a Christian family business.

Their soy candles throw a wonderful scent and burn so cleanly.

I don't have a good nose to recommend a scent and am not familiar w/ any Crabby products, but I can vouch for the company and their lovely candles!

We have a local candle company in my little town called Shining Sol.  They have wood wicks.  You have to trim it before every use so that it catches.  They are pricey but last a long time.

I bought 2 sets of the pink.  I don't have any "real" Carole Hochman, so I have no idea how these compare to what she sells in stores or at the Q.  But these are very nice.  I was going to look online today to see if they have any more.  Love Costco's free shipping.  Keeps me from having to navigate that zoo.

I ordered 2 more sets.  They are no on sale online.  They are still $18 each, still a great bargain.

     I agree.  F.Y.I.,  her website is having a good sale of winter things, if you have any interest.  I especially love her 100% cotton items.  They wash well and don't seem to shrink.

     They had these in grey and in blue, but I, like you, preferred the pink.  The floral capris are particularly pretty.  I think you'll like them.

Now that I make fab deviled eggs in my INSTANT POT...that are SO easy to peel...I have been making them alot!  Wish I wouldn't have ditched my egg dishes I had gotten as wedding gifts a million years ago!  LOL  I found a dish of my grannys that works pretty well....but it doesn't have the perfect little individual wells.  Come on Aldi's....time for an egg dish...but NO chickens on top of it!

What do you put in yours?  I just started recently making them.

I add a little Miracle Whip, relish, S&P, Garlic powder,  dill, sometimes taragon....I use my Wilton Cake Decorator and squirt them out real purdy!  Top w/ a little smoked or sweet paprika.

In the South, it used to be that you got at least one deviled egg dish when you go married.  Mine is oval with salt (hen) and pepper (rooster) shakers that sit in the middle of the dish.

I make my eggs almost like yours but DH hates Miracle Whip which I was raised on.   He prefers Dukes which is also my favorite mayo.   Blue Plate is a close second but we can't get it here.  So I add a touch of sugar which makes the Dukes taste more like Miracle Whip but it is thicker.   My Mom was the Queen of deviled eggs in our family and also used MW.  She experimented all the time-sliced olives - green or black, bacon, small sliced green onion, small diced pickles-sometimes sweet, sometimes gerkin or dill.   She added dill, or parsley and always topped with paprika.  Salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, sometimes horseradish, you never knew what she might throw in them but no matter what, they always tasted so good.   I am kind of the same but I have DD's who hate pickles so I may thin the mixture with sweet pickle juice.  If it is just DH and I, pickles get added.   I have also added hot sauce or buffalo sauce, and capers.   Really I think whatever flavors your family enjoys is ok to add.   I top mine with paprika also and some chives.

@RespectLife  in addition to the other great ideas folks have I also like a little mustard in mine and since I have such a great collection from Aldi it switches them up each time.  I am not a big pickle relish person so I also like bacon and/or green onion to get them a little texture and of course topped with paparika!

For what it is worth . . . I once went as a baked potato to a costume party.  I used chicken wire, aluminum foil, cotton, real chives, and a little box that I covered with yellow construction paper to look like a pat of butter.

Do you think they would notice if you dice or mince the capers up?   Do they not like the look of capers or the taste of them?   I really don't think they taste a lot different than olives.
