I haven't been online for about a month and wanted to stop by QPSS and say Hi to All. Send a few kind furry thoughts out toward TMFY -- we have been running back and forth to the Vet for a few weeks now. Much too hot here for these long "road trips." She says he has crystals in his bladder. He was on antibiotics (which seemed to mainly make him throw up) for several weeks. The vet veers between "hereditary" and "food" each time she sees him. We just started a "UD prescription diet" (Who Knew???) -- had to order it through chewy dot com but the vet has to send them a prescription for it. He just had his first taste of the canned version this morning -- it looks and smells awful to me -- kind of a white color -- but surprisingly he ate it (adding it gradually into his usual food). Maybe he was just thankful there wasn't a pill buried inside it!
May all of you get to enjoy your favorite flavor of summer weather before summer ends. So far ours has been way too hot and way too stormy -- definitely not MY favorite!
@Honeybit My rabbits used to get bladder stones. We cured it permanently through diet (no calcium), so I hope that works for you as well.

Good morning everyone
It's been in the 90s here, but not as humid as it will be in July and August.
I'm hoping for a quiet week at work, especially later in the week as I don't think anyone will be working Friday so I can definitely work from home that day.
I can't shop ahead at all. I buy what I need for the week to make whatever recipes I'm making and that's it.
I end up throwing less stuff out that way.

Hiya @VaBelle35 , did you get all of your ceiling fans/lighting fixtures installed? Are you happy with what you selected especially the ceiling fans?
I think of you often these days as through a series of unfortunate events I have discovered I have a certified HVAC guy lives next door to me and also does also random house repair type work so just maybe I will finally get my beloved hall mirror that weighs a ton hung and I can sleep at night knowing it won't tear down the wall . . . ![]()

@ChiliPepper what am I up to today? Well it took me a couple of hours but I finally convinced myself that it is Monday and not Sunday and I am embarassed to tell you the amount of times I had to take out my phone and convince myself of that . . . hoo boy!
@tiny 2 yep my internal clock has now set itself to not only wake up early but also get up early . . . ![]()
It's quiet, overcast here today Lunch is going to be a bowl of split pea soup I made over the weekend with a couple of slices of the Panera french bread loaf I bought in order to cash in on my freebie breakfast wrap. I hope I like the bread because I really did not enjoy the wrap . . . ![]()

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww..............
That's so dang cute!!!!
I have a sheet over the corner of my love seat so the cats can sit on the arm (& they don't scratch the corner of the love seat - BAD KITTY!!!).
Anyways, my little one burrows under that sheet at the corner & waits for one of us to walk by (its the main thoroughfare) & she jumps out & grabs your leg (not hard) or pounces on top of the other two unsuspecting cats.
Sometimes they know she's there so they try to figure a way through without getting pounced on. It's hilarious to watch!

Aldi alert.......
As I mentioned on the "fancy butter thread", I see that Aldi has rolled out its own genuine Irish butter from grass-fed cows, in addition to the tubs of Kerry Gold that it already sells.
I didn't need it, but all the fancy foreign butter talk made the devil in me buy some anyway.. An 8-oz. chunk for $2.49.
Well.....that should cost me another couple of hours at the gym to work off all that fat, but I trust that I will enjoy the butter.
