Hiya @ChiliPepper my Souper Sizzling Summer Sista! Aldi does have some lovely bamboo items for the bathroom this week but for me, these are on my list:
A beverage container so I can keep water chilled in the fridge:

And these onions/peppers:
Also comes in all peppers. So nice to have in the freezer.
I still also have plenty left but these squeeze bottles of garlic or ginger are the bomb:

Good morning K-Team!
So glad to read that sweet post about your DH. Smart woman to get that larger piece of meat and butcher it into smaller steaks for him to enjoy whenever the urge hits.
Did you get storms last night? They kind of broke up and stayed west heading south of us; by sunset, they all just disappeared.
I have next week's ad for Aldi's right here with me. Actually it's the Insider which is basically just the "goodies" which all seem to be bathroom items, and storage type ideas. No produce items listed, but they are going to have the organic grass fed ribeye steaks for 9.99 a pound and fresh lamb loin chops for 7.99 a pound. And it looks like they are going to have Blue Ribbon English Toffee ice cream bars that would taste so good on a hot day-3.89 a box. You can go online and google Aldi's weekly ad to see more-if I post a link it will get poofed.

Hiya @mustang66lady my friend, thanks for highlighting those grass fed ribeyes as I skipped right over them! When I go next week, I am going to cruise over there and see if they have a small one as I would love a freshly grilled steak (I have been trying to knock down my freezer supply and I am kind of weary of of those frozen beef rib roast slices from Easter). They're fine but . . . . you know . . . ![]()

I hear ya! DH and I have kind of discovered we like frozen meat less and less. We have been eating out of our freezer for a long time now and we still have a bit more to go but looks more inviting now. We have been fighting the urge to keep frozen meat because we want it when we want it, and it's less appealing to have to defrost before cooking-by then, I'm over the urge to cook whatever. Trying now to focus on things that I can defrost fast. And I am really trying to cook just for us and not have many if any, leftovers. I'm always amazed at what you cook for yourself because I'm not sure I would do that if alone. Peanut butter would probably become my best friend!

Thanks for the info, looks like some great items. I saw a hack somewhere where you use one of those beverage dispensers (or one of the glass, lemonade type ones we all have in the back of our cupboard somewhere) on top of your washer to dispense laundry detergent so you don't have to pour it out of the bottle. Seemed like a nifty idea to me.
Peppers & onions are ALWAYS a good item to have though I don't like my peppers cooked super well (I like them "crunchy cooked" so I don't know if the frozen ones would start off much softer.
Definitely looking for the squeeze bottle ginger & garlic, we have the jar type but the squeeze bottle would be so handy.

GASP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Couldn't!!!!!!!!! I must have much in the freezer. I prepare and vacuum seal so no burn. Yesterday I butchered my tenderloins so nice steaks, ground some beef and browned and seasoned it for 20 packages ready to go for chili, tacos, spaghetti etc and I am not going to tell you the rest because I am sure you will laugh.

@momtochloe wrote:Ok, here are my final thoughts on the wreath:
- The good news is after I pried it out of the box and hung it up it actually works in my bedroom so I am very pleased with that.
- The bad news is, after I pried it out of the box it is S-T-I-N-K-Y! Hoo boy. It was quickly banished to the other bedroom and thankfully the smell has dissipated.
- Overall, it's a nice little wreath but I don't think it's worth the full $20. I think they are offsetting the price of the wooden curl ones with others that are of lesser quality to keep the $20 price point. I am probably going to keep it since I truly do like the way it looks and finally fills out that corner of my bedroom that has been bugging for a long time but it's still on probation for a bit.
@momtochloe I bought a stinky wreath from a craft show about 25 years ago. It was massive and beautifully done and cost a small fortune. I think it is the moss they used in it.
I ended up wrapping it in dryer sheets for a while and then when I hung it up, I folded the dryer sheets behind it on the wall. It was okay unless it was really humid and then it would start to stink again.
