Looks like you are the only one here today!   I have been trying to clean but just had to take a break for a few minutes.   Hoping to clean the house before evening; I usually take a couple of days to do this but with the weather that came thru her yesty, I was hurting too much to do anything.  We got 2 inches of rain in about an hour but it continued to rain lighter for a few hours longer.  And that thunder!     Guess that nasty humidity has made it to you but am also thankful your a.c. is working, too.   I sure prayed hard yesterday while that storm hit, that the power would not go out.  Couldn't imagine sitting in the house with no a.c., and as hard as it was raining, opening windows would have gone down to just a few.   Was getting ready to search out area hotels that allowed doggies in case we had to bug out!   DH is on a business trip and won't be home until tonight but the puppies and I were planning a "mini"vacay just in case!

I need to get back to cleaning.   Stay cool my friend!

Sorry i didn't make it on til now...I am trying to finish all my work.

Leaving early today for a wedding rehearsal.

Off tomorrow for the wedding

Leaving Sat. for our annual Bible Conference in Grove City PA

So I will be mostly offline til July 8th!

I will pray for each of you next week and will try to get on if there is WiFi in the dorms this year.  Sometimes it is iffy!

I haven't been online for about a month and wanted to stop by QPSS and say Hi to All.  Send a few kind furry thoughts out toward TMFY -- we have been running back and forth to the Vet for a few weeks now.  Much too hot here for these long "road trips."  She says he has crystals in his bladder. He was on antibiotics (which seemed to mainly make him throw up) for several weeks.  The vet veers between "hereditary" and "food" each time she sees him.  We just started a "UD prescription diet" (Who Knew???) -- had to order it through chewy dot com but the vet has to send them a prescription for it.  He just had his first taste of the canned version this morning -- it looks and smells awful to me -- kind of a white color -- but surprisingly he ate it (adding it gradually into his usual food).  Maybe he was just thankful there wasn't a pill buried inside it! 

May all of you get to enjoy your favorite flavor of summer weather before summer ends.  So far ours has been way too hot and way too stormy -- definitely not MY favorite!

Oh @Honeybit  I am so sorry that our beloved TMFY is not feeling well!  And this awful weather certainly isn't helping the problem now is it.  I hate when vets are so vague about what's going on and it continues for a while like that.  I know our Maggie was put on a diet for her kidney's and she did really well on it, it truly helped (plus Chloe loved it.  We used to grind it up in the food processor as Maggie was shall we say tooth challenged and we always had to sprinkle a bit on Chloe's food too) and I hope for the same result with Yazzy.  And I always hope the worst thing that could happen to him in the summer is that his beautiful tail would frizz a bit in this weather . . .

I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers my friend.  That last thing anyone wants to hear is that you or Yazzy are not well.  Try and stay as cool as you can and again prayers the special food works his magic and you both are back to walking the woods again . . .

Just got two of these from Dollar Tree. They are so darn cute & smell wonderful - both sitting there & burning. The jar is a heavy weight glass & embossed.

There are several scents, I got Fig & Sandalwood & Mandarin Patchouli. Both are yummy!!!

They also offer:

Rosewater Fig (my store didn't have it at the time)

Sage & Citrus (my store didn't have it at the time) - I'm going to look again for this one.

Magnolia Amber (smelled nice but a little too floral for my taste - I lean towards food scents LOL).

Fig & Sandalwood - would definitely buy again.

Mandarin Patchouli - would definitely buy again.

BTW: they are small, about 3" tall.

I have more decorations that I need for this house as well, but last year I watched David's Christmas show where he had the enormous decorations.   I LOVED them!   Yes, they would need a bedroom to themselves just to store them, but decorating would be super fast since these pieces are so large.  So was the cost and I'm sure they were worth it.  I'm just thinking as we are getting older, decorating would be so much easier than putting out all the much smaller items I own now.   But I doubt DH would jump on the bigger is better train with me because it would mean spending money!

I saw those too & loved them but I have no where to store them either, at least not until I get rid of some other stuff.
