Good morning Kitchenettes, happy Souper Saturday my friends . . . Smiley Happy

Good thoughts and prayers for our friend @tiny 2 that those nasty storms rolled through with a minimum of damage to her area and that they did not lose power during the night . . . Heart

Ok, this is what my basement will sound like if one or two of those frogs get in the house!  You hear tree frogs for the about 2.40 of this video-imagine dozens of them, then bull frogs and a snake.   I would prefer the bull frog over the tree frog-at least they would be easier to catch!

Oh goodness @mustang66lady no, just no.  I would spend the entire night listening to them and then stalking the house to ensure they hadn't broken in somehow.  I could take them until maybe 10pm and then they would have to go.  Somewhere.  Not close to me.  Yikes.

Hi, K-Team,

I'm with @tiny 2   -- the worst of the storms went around our little corner of Georgia.  Lots of flooding (4.5 inches of rain yesterday) and trees down from the strong winds all around us, though.  Peaceful today but rainy and temps barely up to 50 -- sunshine predicted for Easter and temps of 80 degrees by Wednesday.  In other words, Springtime in Georgia!

Hope all of you are okay -- I'll catch up on your posts when I can.  Have a richly blessed Easter!

@momtochloe Well I just discovered that my washing machine died with a large load in it and full of water. I can't get it to empty so I am taking the clothes out and putting them in the big tub. I am going to see if I can rinse them in there. I guess I will have to remove the water some way. Any recommendations on new washers. I have read some nightmare stories about the newer ones. PoohWoman Frustrated, I have been so happy with this one but it is really old.

@Honeybit oh goodness it is good to hear from you and know all is well with you!  I am glad the powers that guide storms steered clear of your area and that all is well with you (although goodness that is a lot of rain!) and as always The Most Fabulous Yazzy.  Be well my friend and Happy (and safe) Easter to you!  Heart

Oh UGH @tiny 2 !  I am assuming that washer is too old to repair anymore as I and many agree they just don't make them like they used to.  I know both @mustang66lady and @VaBelle35 recently replaced their washers and are thrilled with them (ladies help me out as I have forgotten the brand, duh)..

@momtochloe,I am going to try to save it first. I have left a message for the Appliance repair people that I use.
