Howdy!
Excusa the absence! A car hit the pole down the road and we were without interent or phones til today!
The weather was absolutely fine yesterday, so I have no idea why it hit. Luckily, it missed the house! There was an ambulance on site, so I hope the injuries were not too bad.
I didn't miss the phones, but I sure missed the internet! Felt like the OLD days!
I had over 75 emails to handle today once we were restored! Very weird, cuz I am not even that important around here ! LOL!
Yep, we got the snow last night, ice this morning, sleet mid morning, rain next and now back to sleet. The ride in was a crawl but not too bad. Took DH over an hour for a 20 min. ride.

Glad to see you back! That weather sure sounds like it's time for the Respect family to head some place warm and sunny! Please get home safely. Hope our sista @ChiliPepper makes it home safe as well-I think she has been hard hit by the weather as well.

I think you had asked for a review of the Beekman Brother's dryer balls. I had received 6 of them from HSN-they were offered 3 or 6 to a set. When I washed and dried the doggies fleece blankets, I was sold. No static at all after using the dryer balls and they were nice and soft. Today I washed my Malden Mills fleece sheets (king size) and while I didn't have the same amount of static as usual but more than I thought I would have too. Next time, I am going to dry one sheet at a time with 6 dryer balls with each, and see if that gets rid of more static. I'm not sure more dryer balls would help as 2 or 3 seemed caught up in the fitted sheet but that doesn't mean they spent the entire dry time in that tangle. Will report back when I have washed sheets another day!

Oh @mustang66lady thanks so much for letting me know about those dryer balls! You made me laugh about those sheets/balls getting all tangled up as the last time I washed sheets I had to literally pull everything out of the dryer and lay it out on the bed to pry everything apart. I hope your new configuration helps with those sheets, I look forward to hearing how it goes.

Nice to see someone else has latched onto the frittata bandwagon.
I often brown half a pound of ground pork sausage and throw some frozen chopped green peppers and onions into the pan......
Then I whisk 6-8 eggs with about 1/4 cup of milk........ (usually cooking for two people and will still have leftovers that I can heat up for myself at breakfast time) and then stir in about a 1/3 cup of shredded or grated parmesan or cheddar.
I pour the mixture over the sausage and veggies in the pan and let it heat on stove a little until the edges start to cook, then pop into the oven.
So many other ingredient variations are possible, and it doesn't seem to matter exactly how much of each ingredient is added.. I consider this type of dish a real cheater's attempt at getting dinner done quickly with whatever happens to be around.
If anyone else fixes this dish, please give me your ideas for new stuff to try.
Loved your idea of putting salsa on top,.

You were the teacher to me about the frittatas! I had eggs that needed to be used, some broccoli, red, yellow and orange bell pepper, green onions that needed to be used. I always have bacon bits on hand (I get the big bag of real bacon bits at SAM's) and I had some cheese that I had grated and needed to use so we were set. I blanched the broccoli before adding that to my well prepped cast iron skillet, Mixed 8 eggs with 1/4 cup of milk. Down went the broccoli, diced peppers, green onions and bacon bits. I poured the egg mixture over and covered with the cheese, popped it in a 400 degree oven and about 25 minutes later, we were eating! I thought the salsa would be a fresh element on it and we both enjoyed it very much. Another great way to get rid of bits and pieces of items on hand. Thanks for the idea and the help on how to put it together!

Jennie and Buster are both lovers. It's a shame you can't see Buster's eyelashes-they are at least 2 inches long. It's the thing people notice first when they see him up close. I love his freckles. They would love to have you come visit and never leave!
Now Buster would probably be ok with those kitties but Jennie and Roscoe would strongly vote them off the island! If I can find a photo of Roscoe, will post that too. He's camera shy and we have to sneak up and get photos of him!
