Now you would look FABULOUS IN THAT COAT @momtochloe !!

I have almost the exact same one!  I'm sure it came from Q since I never shop anywhere else.  Have had it for years.  Only diff is I don't have the extra seaming down the front but other than that...dead on!!  I LOVE IT!  It is very slimming and in OUR charcoal grey!  Maybe my collar is a teeny bit smaller but I love the ruffles cascading down the front...and the fluff is so snuggly!

Is it from Q?  I think mine is either Basso or that Bradley Hunky designer that used to be on.

Actually @RespectLife the coat is from Evine.  I happened to catch it along with a darling faux leather motorcycle jacket around the lunch hour.  Great sale prices on that channel today if you are looking for clothing bargains . . . Smiley Happy

Oh and @RespectLife I loved Bradley Bayou and had a lot of his coats.  Great style and quality, I was bummed when they let him and Michael Dawkins go as I was a big fan of both . . . Smiley Sad

I have to go back and catch up on our posts since I have spent the better part of the entire day in the acounting office.  The last 30 mins. chasing a penney.  I won the battle.  Heh, Heh...Quick Books thinks it is SO smarty pants!

Okay, keeping ON topic of SOUP!  It is almost (well not quite) St. Patty's Day and my Irish half is craving this soup from our dear friend @forrestwolf  !  She hates celery (LOL) and noted this recipe as such.  I use it cuz I like the crunch.  I do hope she is well!!

We are due for a storm this weekend....this sounds like it is on the menu!  I use deli corned beef so easy peasy!  (NO PEAS, PLEASE) tee hee

Sometimes I top it with a slice of provo or mozz and broil it.  Kinda like a Fr Onion Soup.

Reuben Soup

Ingredients

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup sliced celery (NOT ME)

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 tablespoons water

3/4 cup sauerkraut, rinsed and drained (I USE MORE, AND ONLY USE CLAUSSEN)

2 cups half-and-half cream

2 cups chopped cooked corned beef

1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Rye croutons, optional

In a large saucepan, saute onion and celery in butter until tender.

Add broth and baking soda.

Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; gradually add to pan.

Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

Reduce heat.

Add sauerkraut, cream and corned beef; simmer and stir for 15 minutes.

Add cheese; heat until melted.

Add salt and pepper. Garnish with croutons if desired.

WHEW!  THANK GOODNESS!  I don't have an account w/ Evine (and won't dare open one).

If it was Q, it was gonna be in my cart pretty soon.  Mine could use an update!

I'm not even going to let myself peek cuz both sound SO me!

I will admit to buying the TSV WWC in Khaki taupe.  After purging my pants, no khaki remained.  Her pants work well for me and that isn't a huge price ticket today.  Free shipping got me!  LOL  Every now and then, you gotta wear a different color than black!

Other than that...I can't, I can't, I can't...but I WANNA!

YIKES!  I came to the computer for a little evening relaxation and guess which thread I happened to read first thing?  Congrats to all of you for your responses -- I do love you ladies.  If it weren't for SOUP, I wouldn't still be coming to the Community at all.

Remember when there were two early TV "reality" shows called "That's Incredible" and "Real People" ?  HEE HAW used to have a tagline:  "That's People, Real Incredible."

Think I'll just go bury myself in the nearest clique and have a good fit of the sulks -- maybe I'll throw in a rant or two, too.
