This is a pimiento cheese recipe from Paula Deen's son, Bobby.
I like the idea of including Monterey Jack cheese with cheddar, because I've always thought some pimiento cheese spreads are too heavy on sharp cheddar taste.

I posted the picture & then was trying to add words to it & it wouldn't let me so the picture got deleted & then I re-entered it.
That's a lot of thought for my little brain this early LOL!!!

Good afternoon everyone.
I had my cysts removed today, so I am forced chilling on my sofa, drinking tea and watching tv.
This plastic surgeon is the husband of my dermatologist and he removed a big ugly thing from the back of my leg 5 years ago (although that time I did it under light anesthesia (like they do for colonoscopies), so I wasn't awake.
I forgot to ask them what to take for pain. They are not answering their phone. Lord do I dislike the staff of this practice. If the doctors weren't so wonderful and talented, I would switch.
I brought my garbage cans up before I left so I can just push them out the front door in the morning. I can't lift with my right side for a few days. I have a bunch of internal stitches. It's hard to tell how many because I couldn't feel those. He gave me an extra shot on the side vs what he gave me on my neck. I felt every single stitch going in on my neck. LOL He said he always does a lot of stitches because then there won't be any tearing. He said the reason people's wounds open up is because they do too few stitches.
I had to order these mepiform silicone patches from Amazon. They say they work very well for limiting scarring. The skin on my side is already scarred from several infections, so I don't think it will matter, but I'll try it anyway as I need it for my neck as well.
This should be the end of the infections. I was getting tired of having to deal with that about once a year.
So on this thankful Thursday I am thankful for goog doctors.

Oh @VaBelle35 goodness what a day you have had (and during your vacation, boo!). I didn't realize those removals would be so extensive and intrusive. Were you able to finally get a hold of the doctor's office in terms of what is recommended for pain management? I so hear you about doctor's offices as when my car pooped out on me I had to cancel a scheduled dentist appointment and I also noted my new phone number (as even though it was 10am no one picked up the phone). I called back a few hours later to make sure they received the information and they were like "well of course" . . . coulda have called me back to confirm maybe (as I didn't want to get dinged for a no show on my appointment)? . . . sigh.
You were smart to get those garbage cans in order before your surgery as those things could wreck havoc on your stitches. Years ago we lost power for more than a few days and I had to haul them up a flight of stairs and wheel them out the front door (down three more stairs). That is not a performance I would like to repeat.
Those patches from Amazon are wonderful! That's so nice that folks don't have to live with scarring if it can be avoided and especially with an over the counter product.
Today is Baking Day on Evine . . . I always love me some Deb Murray so I am toggling back and forth between her and Beat Bobby Flay . . . good heavens that woman just makes me laugh!
I hope you are without as much pain as possible and that you heal quickly my friend. It sounds like you went through a lot so good thoughts and prayers for a very speedy recovery! ![]()
