2 - I got my car back . . . they completely detailed it to the point that when they were coming down my street to pick me up I thought to myself "wow, that is a good looking car" . . . tee hee!

3 - The car runs perfectly and came in almost $200 of what I thought I was paying.

4 - I laughed the whole time on the ride there as the owner of the shop used to live on the street next to me so we had a good time gossiping.

5 - I bought my precious ears of corn and then decided to not be an idiot and shuck them inside the store . . . long story short, after walking back to the Produce department I was talking with a guy who was clearly my age about taking care of our mom's etc. and he mentioned he was so blessed for his job and of course I mentioned my current situation . . . turns out where he works is hiring and they are 10 minutes from my house and they come with great benefits . . . and to think if I had just waddled home I never would have had that potentially life changing conversation . . . don't ever tell me there is no God . . . 

6 - DID I MENTION YOU LADIES?

Seriously, thanks as always for hanging in there with me.  I guess being grounded took a bit of a toll on my psyche but I am back baby! . . .

I am so thankful for your post and all that transpired both with your car and your corn!!

Such AWESOME events!  Yes, indeedy...only HE can coordinate such things!

Praying God will bless this corn meeting with an exciting opportunity for you!!

I am also thankful that DH still has not had any further outbreaks of his shingles!

Looks like we are clear to leave on Saturday!  Thank you Lord!!

I know @RespectLife and please know I never think I am left unattended but sometimes when I find myself so confused as to where to go that answer is always, always provided to me for which I am so, so greatful!  I always believe life is what you make of it and I am ever so greatful on this Thankful Thursday that I had the day I have had as it have given me a boost that I cannot describe (and clearly when I need it).

     Please tell me where I can get these shoes?  They are a must have to go with the pants and tee shirt. 

     I did like the heels in our previous post, but they are, what I like to call "Walker Shoes."  (I'd need a walker to hold on to be able to walk in them and not fall.)

     What a blessing to meet the man at the grocery store and to hear about the job.  Wow, is that a God Thing!  Yeah!  I will continue to pray about the job situation.

      The whole care thing turned out so well.  Isn't God amazing?

      Those high top corn sneakers sound like something I would want.  Wonder if anyone still sells them?

      I have been able to get up off the floor after falling into paroxysms of laughter after seeing those socks.  Purchase information about these socks would be greatly appreciated, if they are for sale to the General Public.
