@ChiliPepper if you mean the guy that picked me up in my car?  Well yes actually he is very cute, sweet and funny and also very happily married to his partner in crime for many decades.  He is also the owner of the shop which should show what a great place it is that the owner is shuttling folks around instead of sitting by the pool so to speak.  They are awesome and I was happy to post my first Yelp! review about them!

@ChiliPepper yes the Corn Dude was also adorable but also taking care of his ailing wife (she had a stroke) and also his 93 year old mother (but does have help from his sister on that front).

It's amazing the amount of ground you can cover in an incredibly short amount of time when you are speaking with someone that knows exactly what you are talking about.

I am just so greatful l met him (or for me shucked corn with him for a bit while he was carefully selecting ears for his mother.  It was a nice moment if that makes sense) . . .

I love corn @ChiliPepper and Trader Joe's has a delicious bag o' frozen fire roasted corn that is delicious which I should stock more often (now that I hope my freezer isn't dying).

And now back to my whining, good heavens how expensive are utility bulbs for a fridge?  The first package I grabbed was $4.50 for two but luckily I found a pack on sale for $1.89 (but they charged me $1.99 so back I go for my dime).  The more expensive bulbs were frosted and the cheaper set was not so my soda and beer are just going to have to get used to the assault on their orbs whenever I open the fridge door . . .
