I buy Birdseye frozen lima beans for this.  I don't think I've ever seen a fresh lima bean.  You can also just leave the lima beans out.  I wouldn't use black beans in this.  You can find succotash frozen and in a can if you want to save those steps.  I have done that, too, when corn isn't in season.

Today is my day off.  It is my salon day.  I can't wait to get my hair cut.  I am growing out the sides and it has been a painful 4 weeks.  The rain and humidity have not helped.  I can't wait to have good hair again.

I was too tired to get to Wegmans last night, I meant to leave at 5 pm but the questions kept coming in and then the west coast realized we were (a) leaving for the day and (b) not working today and so they kicked it up a notch.   "Just one more question....."  I had called WC#1 to ask him a question at 5 and was glad he was still there.  He asked me when I was leaving and I said 5 minutes.  At 6pm I put on my out of office and shut down.

I can't go to the gym with this thing on my side, although the antibiotics are finally kicking in and I was able to sleep for 8 hours last night.  We'll see how tomorrow feels.

It is supposed to be nice today but the rain comes back tomorrow.  I am not in a hurry for it to be 90 degrees, but I am tired of wearing a jacket.

Word is getting around that we are having cake on Tuesday as people come by my office and see the bags with plates and napkins.

Grown men get giddy at the idea of cake.  When I was surveying the military guys in the company about whether to have a giveaway (like a lapel pin) or cake, they were all over the cake.  "What kind of cake?" 

One said to me yesterday, it's better than candy.  LOL

My passport will be here tomorrow.  That was fast.  I noticed they cashed my check the day after I mailed it ;o)

I should use that thing once before I die.

I was just checking my stash and realized I have one bottle of Philosophy body lotion left (in Living Grace).  I have a few bottles of 3 in 1.

I guess I can try the Korres now  I also love Perlier (the regular honey). I used to find tons of it at Marshalls and then they stopped carrying it so I stopped buying it.

I am also out of Amazing Grace EDP so I want to try some of the Fresh and Clean fragrances.

I think I need to go to Ulta this weekend.

We eat a lot of lima beans and often make a lima & corn combination, plus a lima-cheese-bacon casserole.  And not only have I never seen a fresh lima bean, but sometimes the grocery stores don't have the frozen ones either. Sometimes when they do, the price is far higher than that of any other item in the frozen vegetable aisle.

Frozen baby lima beans are usually easier to find and cost less, but I don't like them quite as much as I like Fordhook limas.

Never have tried canned limas, but my husband does like certain brands of  canned seasoned black-eyed peas, and I'm glad because cooking those from the freezer case on the stove takes more time than I usually like to devote to a single vegetable.

@VaBelle35, I also have some of the Clean frangrances and body products and I love those too.  Their scent literally lists until the next time you shower but are not overwhelming.  Linen is my favorite . . .

I am glad you get a day off and are planning a splendid day.  I am waiting for the Comcast guy and depending on when he gets done may run a couple of errands.

The problem isn't them eating...it's them coming inside our fence.

I wonder if I could spray this on the grass all around the perimeter of the fence?

Condi never goes outside of it.

That's what I was thinking, spray it around the perimeter OUTSIDE the fence.

I use a similar mixture in one of my flower beds to keep the neighbors cat from pooping in my flowers (I hate irresponsible pet owners!!!). It worked well, the cat would sniff near it & walk away.
