No kidding! I was planning on going through every recipe posted that included peas or beets and notate how I loathe those two things...but then I thought....WHO CARES WHAT I THINK!
Just becuz we can hide behind a 'user' name...we think we can say anything we want. After all, IT'S MY OPINION and I'm entitled to it! Oh Boy ...would my mom have a comeback for that!
It is unkind and totally not necessary to pick apart the health value of a recipe. Not really low carb, not very healthy with that cheese..THANK YOU...SUSH UP AND GO AWAY!

I loved the Mandarin Oranges and wish I had more to put in!! I am a fan of water chestnuts cuz I love crunch! I served it over Unc Ben rice from the pouch (because I need to continually prove to DH that I didn't need that rice cooker!)

I see recipes all the time with ingredients (mushrooms) that I don't like. It's ME - not the recipe!!!!
Unless it is a recipe totally about mushrooms, I just leave them out - NO COMMENT NECESSARY!!!!!!!!!
DD doesn't like salty things, plus for health reasons. So I watch the amount of salt in a recipe.
I think you hit the nail on the head though. Would they say some of those same things to someones face???
I ask DD ALL THE TIME about recipes I make. She says "it was good". Then I say: "would you want me to make it again?". Sometimes I get a "well, maybe not - but it was good".
Then I know it really wasn't all that great & she is just being kind LOL!!!

Oh, I didn't see your comment when I looked earlier.
I want to try that soon, I have some small, beef cubes in the freezer to use up.
Will I NEVER get to the bottom &/or back of that dang freezer LOL?!!

That's too funny! That's how DH and I gauge the recipe! Good? Repeat?
He has actually given me a few "Don't lose this recipe!"
He knows my pile is so extensive it is hard to ever find them again!
