Despite a bad snow storm and below zero temps...we had a lovely Baby Shower!

About six ppl canceled at the last min. But we still had about 40.

my food was a big hit with so many compliments and requests for recipes!!! Yeah me!

Two thumbs up on the Pink Baby Girl punch. I had no freezer space to make the sherbet balls...but it was fantastic just putting the sherbet in by teaspoons.

The food police will be pleased to know that Heart Attack Mac &Cheese was just as good using half and half instead of heavy cream. 

I bought the the wrong thing by mistake..lol

You couldn't really tell it was 'lightened' up...prolly cuz I added more cheese to make up for the missing cream. Hee hee...don't tell 'them'

It was by far the biggest hit of my menu

I did discover that while I thoroughly enjoyed this catering gig of mine, I will never make any money at it!

As usual, I had too much food. The thing that gets me is that I actually figured portions and serving sizes for the event. I was truly hoping that for once, I would have nailed the quantities.

sigh. The entire thing was a love donation by me...but I over loved!! Lol. And the paper products were a big ouch$$ even with a coupon.

I  over cooked but so many were thrilled to take home plates!!!

I found much JOY in their appreciation. Pls pray DH finds some of that joy when the charge bills come.  Oops

I have an Epson printer, and I cannot find out how to print your quick pot sticker soup. On your page there is no print info....can you tell me how to print out this recipe? Thank

To print a recipe from this site, you must first copy and paste it into a document on your computer, and then print your document.  Hope this helps!

@RespectLife  So glad the food was a hit.  I guess it's better to have too much food than not enough.  Feeding an army isn't cheap so I'm glad everyone was happy and appreciative of your efforts.

What is going on with this website today?  Has anyone else had problems logging on?  I tried this morning about 9:30 and could not get on.  Have tried a few times after that and had problems but figured now it was because of the easy pays on everything for a few hours.

"Amazon Virgins?!"  I don't think I will comment because we might get taken down, but maybe the problem with logging on was because I sprayed my computer with coffee when I read your post!  LOL!  You are a hoot!  Actually, you are the reason I have been thinking of making my first Amazon purchase for one of those pillows you love so much!   My leg is so much better but sure don't want to be in that shape again!

I'm so happy your shower went so well and the pink girl punch was so well accepted!  I always over "love" everyone when I plan dinners as well-you should have seen the leftovers from Superbowl! 

I am hoping that I have a good experience with the moppines-at least I will find out!  As I said, they have been in the cart and out so many times I lost count.  Rachael seems to use them without incident but have to admit, I did see one of her male guests catch one on fire once!  YIKES!  What am I getting myself into?!

I'm doing pink and red for you today!  I'm so sorry your car won't start.  I hate that-the feeling of not being able to leave when you want almost panics me.  Not sure I will be a very agreeable old lady when they take my keys from me! 

It's cold here today too and something fell from the sky this morning-not exactly sure if it was sleet or snow  or a combination then it changed to snow.  We only got a couple of inches but the cold and wind chill is bad but I feel bad complaining about it compared to what you and Respect got!

What happened upstate today?  Did you all get hit with snow? 

I'm so sorry you are having to fight for something you paid to have done.  I wonder, if your taxes are not complicated, could you do a "mock" on turbo tax to see what those results are?   The commercials say it is free.  Just wondering.  Wish I could help more.

And I agree, you sent the best Valentine I have ever seen!  I'll take a dozen!  LOL!

I guess I am stubborn about those moppines and hoping someone had a good experience with them.  I did read the reviews and like I said, watched Rachael use them with such ease.  Well, we will see if I am crying after I burn my house down or not, should I catch one on fire like Rachael's guest!  Thanks for helping dancedoll figure out how to print recipes, too.

Oh good heavens if anybody is watching TV right now please turn on Evine as they have the Beekman Boys and more importantly their baby goats on.  There is one that is wandering around bleating his lungs out and has the most adorable pair of tiny horns I have ever seen.

I enjoy them and their products anyway but those baby goats are just too much for me!
