I'm not a quinoa fan, but because it's so high in protein I'm always looking for ways to make it so I can get it down, so thanks for the ideas.

One thing about quinoa-you have to rinse it! No matter what the package says. It has a naturally occuring covering that is bitter tasting. It's hard to rinse because it's so small-so you need a fine sieve. I think it's pretty neutral tasting and will take on whatever flavor that you add to it.

I am going to use the leftovers with fresh mushrooms and onions sauteed and then mix some soy sauce with rice vinegar and saute for a bit with the veggies and use it as a side dish with my chicken tonight.
Thanks for the ideas. I like it. I like it better than rice, actually. It's light and so much healthier. Next, I'm going to use it in stir fry with shrimp.
I rinsed mine in a strainer and it didn't have a bitter taste at all. What powerhouse food it is. I love the idea of adding it to pasta.
