Pretzel Candy

Miniature pretzels-about half of a 1 pound bag

2 sticks of butter

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

Sea salt

Break pretzels and layer on a 11x17 rimmed baking sheet covered in parchment paper. Melt butter and brown sugar and when it comes to a soft boil, simmer gently for 3 minutes. Pour this hot caramel over pretzel layer. Bake in 375 oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips over. The chips will soften after a minute or two from the hot pretzel/caramel layer. When they are soft, spread them evenly. Sprinkle sea salt over all. Let the pan cool and then refrigerate to set the chocolate. Break into pieces and enjoy.
