2 lbs red potatoes  peel first (boil,cool,slice)    Put potatoes into a bowl , then add the ingredients  .   1/2 small sweet onion, grated   1T oil(canola),  1T white vinegar  ,  chopped celery a stalk or two. , dash salt  (up to you ) , garlic power (magic secret) sprinkle over everything ,  Dukes Mayo (better than Hellmans) ( I switched after 50 years)-enough to cover the potatoes     , Mix everything good , Refridgerate.    Stir again later.  Everything blends well,making a yummy potato salad.
