Pork Chops and Apple Compote
I saw this recipe on Beer Geeks today. It was so easy I had to try it for dinner. It is delish!
Season pork chops with Kosher salt, pepper and rosemary. Brown in oil in pan. Remove to pan in oven at 350. Peel apples and dice. Dice about 1/2 small onion in small dice. Put apples and onions in pan to start softening. After it's soft, add 1 cup beer, 1 T honey, salt and pepper, and a heaping tablespoon of brown sugar. Simmer til soft. Put on top of pork chops in oven and bake about 10 min. The exact measurements weren't given but it seems very forgiving. Enjoy! Anna
