Pistachio Dessert

1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
Mix together and press in bottom of a 13X9 pan

4 cups vanilla ice cream
2 boxes of instant Pistachio pudding
2 cups milk
Beat pudding with milk then add ice cream and beat. Spread over crackers. Refrigerate and spread with Cool Whip, chopped walnuts and cut up maraschino cherries before serving. Cut out in squares.
