Pasta Salad

I've been asked to make a pasta salad for my future daughter-in-law's bridal shower. Does anyone have a good recipe? I haven't made a pasta salad in years, and the one recipe I have is just bow-tie pasta with a few additions.....green pepper, black olives, onion, cubed ham, and cheese.....and Italian dressing. My family likes it, but I don't think its suitable for this special occasion! Please help!!
