Up until apx. 6 months ago Panera carried a lemon drop cookie - delicious. I think it was some type of sugar cookie with no icing. It was about as tall as a Cheryl's cookie but quite a bit larger around. Does anyone have a recipe for this cookie? TIA

They probably used some of the lemon baking additives from King Arthur baking company . They sell several products dry lemon powder among other items that really boost the lemon flavor .

I wanted to let everyone know what I did. I googled "Panera Lemon Drop Cookie" and it looked the same so I printed it off. The recipe calls for the zest of 1 lemon but apx. 5 years ago I broke one of my wrists and it hasn't been the same and makes it difficult when doing anything. Found out you can buy dried lemon peel (McCormick). Then I had to go on the internet to see how much to use. Some said 1 tsp, some said 1 1/2 tsp. I used 1 1/2 tsp. They came out great and were a huge hit on Christmas. I will be making them again. Thanks to everyone here for the ideas.
