I bought Pillsbury rolls for Thanksgiving last week. My husband came home yesterday with King's Hawaiian rolls. No big deal the Pillsbury can wait.
Then today I went to Costco and could not resist the Cranberry Walnut Bread.
Thought I would use the cranberry walnut bread with dinner tonight. What can I cook that would go with the cranberry walnut bread? I was thinking about chicken but I suspect with all the turkey on Thanksgiving I shouldn't go that route.

Good idea. The fruit and pork sound good. Should have added - my husband is cooking spare ribs tomorrow night for dinner.

Have it for dessert with a cup of tea or coffee.

Sounds good. I think that is the best route.

I buy Costco's cranberry walnut bread. I usually cut it and freeze half of it. It freezes well in a zip lock bag.
i use it to make chicken salad or tuna salad sandwiches. It can be spread with cream cheese for breakfast. Left over Thanksgiving Turkey sandwiches with cranberry dressing would be delicious.
It would probably taste good served with pork or ham for dinner too.

Ha! Ha!
We end up having a "big dinner" every night because my son still lives with us.
He used to work 12 - 15 hours a day. And now with Covid his company is laying off a number of employees. He wonders if he will be next.
So we make a dinner because often he doesn't eat a breakfast or lunch. But that is his doing. So me being a Mom make sure he gets some food when he comes home.

Doesn't the premade Costco chicken salad have cranberries in it? I keep wanting to try it.
I can't wait to have a turkey sandwich with the bread. Hopefully there won't be any bread left over to freeze.
With all the good suggestions you ladies have given me, I hope the bread is finished by Friday.

@drizzellla I have never had Costco's chicken salad. Over the years, I have found that store bought deli salads aren't very good. They are slimy.
I make my own and yes, if I have them, I put dried cranberries in my chicken salad. I put apples in there too. I like it fruity.
I find that the cranberry bread dries out quickly. It's not a good keeper. I freeze half as soon as I get home.....unless we are expecting company.
I am gluten free, so I can't enjoy the bread, but my DH does. It's a big loaf for one person. I noticed that with just about everything else, the price went up. Boo hoo hoo about that.
We went to Costco this morning. Our bill was over $400. I almost couldn't believe it. It is usually half of that. We really didn't buy all that much.
