I really like this cake because it is so moist.

OATMEAL CAKE

In sause pan on stove top cook 1 1/2 cup hot water and 1 cup oatmeal until thick. Set pan in cold water to cool.

Cream together:

1 cup sugar 1 cup packed Brown sugar

1 stick Oleo or butter 2 eggs

Add to cooled oatmeal mixture. Mix Together:

1 1/2 cup flour 1 teaspoon Baking Soda

1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Add to the oatmeal mixture and then add 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Bake in a greased & floured 9x13 pan 35 minutes at 350.

Is good with cream cheese frosting or whipped topping or just plain.
