This little ditty came to mind today at lunch, and I'm wondering how many of you remember little ditties like this from childhood - re food.

I eat my peas with honey;
I've done it all my life.
It makes the peas taste funny,
But it keeps them on the knife.

My folks and grandparents were great Ogden Nash fans--his books of poems and other delights were passed down to me--I sure do remember this one!

{#emotions_dlg.laugh} {#emotions_dlg.lol}

& remember?

On top of spaghetti,
All covered with cheese,
I lost my poor meatball,
When somebody sneezed.

It rolled off the table,
And on to the floor,
And then my poor meatball,
Rolled out of the door.
