No biggie ........ but if you see this...Is Notepad better and/or easier than Microsoft Office Word? I use Notepad to file my recipes but not for anything else. I need to go look a little more at it and try and figure out how to use it. Dh showed me MOW and I havent tried to work with anything else. You know the gibberish you get sometimes when you copy/paste from a site??? That's what I was getting here.

Tabbycat, I know exactly what you mean. It happened to me, and Chicagoan - Robin suggested Notepad. Notepad serves a different purpose than Word and the only way I know how to explain it - since I don't know the 'tech' talk - is that Notepad neutralizes whatever is copied to it and makes it suitable to copy and paste here. One of the best things is that it allows you to post single spaced items as well as cutting out all the symbols, etc, that seem to come out of the blue as a result of the way this forum is set up.
I think you'll like it when you get the hang of it. I sometimes still forget to go to Notepad first, but it's easily remedied when I see the results. Good luck. I hope you find it to be as easy as I think it is.
That's the only way I use Notepad; I haven't 'filed' anything in it, but I suppose I could.

Hi Beebee.... I didn't want to hijack the Luncheon thread anymore but I just wanted to catch up with you and tell you after checking out Notepad as you suggested, I realized I told you the wrong thing. I have never used Notepad LOL ...I was thinking about Onenote. I file my recipes in Onenote.

I don't know the tech talk either and I'm easily confused by wordpad, notepad, onenote, etc. teeeheeee. You know what I mean? I am going to give this Notepad a whirl next time but it doesn't look like one can file recipes in it. Onenote is an easy place to file recipes.
