Is this it?

Crockpot Apricot Chicken

What You’ll Need:

· 4 – 5 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

· 16 oz. Jar of Smuckers Apricot Preserves

· 8 oz. Kraft Catalina Dressing {Russian Dressing can be substituted}

· 1 packet Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix

· Crockpot

Cook chicken in crockpot on high for 3 hours {covered}.

After 3 hours, drain juices from crockpot.

Mix together catalina dressing, apricot preserves, and dry onion soup.

Pour mixture over chicken, and cook on high for 30 more minutes {covered}.

This is a good recipe! You can also substitute a can of cranberry sauce for the apricot preserves.

The recipe that I saw used bone in chicken parts and used these same ingredients which were put in the crockpot for the entire cooking time. I had forgotten about the onion soup mix! I'll use your recipe. Thanks

I prefer making it in the oven so that you can keep turning it. I also prefer the Russian salad dressing........might be the Catalina......real dark red one.

CHICKEN WITH RUSSIAN DRESSING

1 SMALL BOTTLE OF Russian salad dressing

1 envelope onion soup mix

1 small bottle apricot preserves

chicken thighs ........with bone and skin

Mix ingredients together and coat chicken.

Line in pan......I prefer glass to metal but your choice

Pour remaining dressing over chicken.

Cook at 375 approximately 1 hour.

Turn chicken often.

We have made it with the onion soup, French or Russian dressing and a can of cranberries. Makes a great sweet and sour chicken, but better and not real sweet!

This is an old but very tried and true recipe. It's very good. My Mom used to make this for us while I was growing up, and would bake it in the oven. She used the apricot preserves, and the Catalina salad dressing, and a cut-up chicken. It is great served with rice. Smile

Yes I am sure this is what you are looking for. It is from Krafts and called Catalina chicken breasts. My printer is off right now but I don't think you will have any problem getting it from Krafts recipes. If you have a problem let me know and maybe I can go further
