I have had this machine since July, and have used it nearly every day for weeks now--well at least 3 to 4 times a week---yesterday, I cooked a marinated turkey breast on it----was only about 1.1/2 pounder,  so small--but boy was it wonderful!!! The skin was crispy and golden brown and very flavorful---next time I will knock a couple minutes off the time----was a touch dry but will still make great sammies today. Love this machine!!! Heart

Re: Ninja outdoor grill update

@wagirl

Looking to replace our outdoor grill.  Which Ninja grill did you purchase?

Thanks, glad you love your grill.

Re: Ninja outdoor grill update

I might be more interested if they made a propane version so I'd have somthing if the power went out.

Re: Ninja outdoor grill update

@Allegheny --the one I got is the 7-1 outdoor grill and smoker. Got it from HSN for $299.99. It is electric not propane or  charcoal--so you need an outlet.

@Icegoddess --Have never lost power where I live now,  so that is not an issue for me. Am in an apartment now,  but my house had outlets outside too, but see your point.

@wagirl we don't lose power that often and usually not for long, but we were without power for an entire week following a bunch of tornadoes that came through and took out the main transmission lines.  Luckily, we had the gas grill, but no burners.  I made sure the next grill we got came with a side burner.  We do have outdoor outlets.

@wagirl

Thanks for the information.  We have electric outlets on both our porch and deck, so we're good.  Losing power not a problem, I have a gas cooktop and whole house generator.

Re: Ninja outdoor grill update

@Allegheny ---I just saw that all Ninja brand items are on a sale of sorts here--the outdoor grill is $299 now with free shipping. I paid that for mine from HSN. And comes with the same accessories too.

Re: Ninja outdoor grill update

@Icegoddess ---yes-- here, near Seattle , we sometimes get some gnarly wind storms, but never tornados--that make the power go out for hours and one storm knocked the power out for 5 days---and I did have and used a propane bbq. I had a huge stainless steel bbq with a side burner--- but that thing was like a tank to try to move around. I like the Ninja because it is small and being 37 lbs, I can still move it easily to another outdoor location. And you know---this thing works 10 x better than the steel tank one I had!!
