Need help from bacon experts!

I would like to prepare bacon in my house but I refuse to splatter grease all over. Does anyone have instructions to share for bacon baked in the oven? Also what brand does everyone prefer? Since I never purchase it I have no idea. Want to find a brand that is more meat than fat. TIA!
