Need a good tried and true recipe please, shoo fly pie(wet bottom)

Took DH to the Shady Maples Smorgasbord today and I had the best shoo fly pie with pecans in. I use to have my grandmothers recipe but can't find it anymore. I would like a good tried and true one you have. I can just add the pecans to that. Would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

DH got his meal totally free since it was his birthday today plus he got a 20% coupon off any item in their gift shop and 2 enormous(really enormous) whoopie pies from their bakery to take home. Tuesday is seafood night there so he was in all his glory.
