--- for an Instant Pot cookbook with lots and lots of pictures, plus recipes that people really cook and eat.  Hope you all know what I mean by that statement.  I've looked in so many different cookbooks and they're disappointing. Too any "exotic" ingredients and recipes that some would not cook.  I understand a cookbook has to be varied, but it should also be for the home cook, especially an IP cookbook.  Anything, anyone can recommend would be appreciated.

Re: Need A Recommendation ---

chweck with your local library and see if they have one.  that way you can check it oput and see if the recipes are what you want. and if the book is worth buying

Re: Need A Recommendation ---

there are so many website and blogs doing IP recipies I would do that over buying a cookbook

do you want me to link some later ?

you can pick out what you want to cook.

For me they are usually pork heavy and we don't eat pork but that might work for you,  in fact I rarely cook any meat in mine.

@jackthebear  Yes please, if you could list some good ones.  I'm not that new to pressure cooker cooking, but I'd like something different to prepare and the times involved.  In the past I've mostly made stews, chili, and soups, but with the new IP's, seems like entire meals can be prepared and I just don't know times, etc.  Some I've "hit" and others were "missed."

@coffee drinker

ANY recipes, books by the Blue Jean Chef, Meredith Laurence.

I got both her Pressure Cooker books on Amazon for my Kindle for only 99 cents.

I have tried a ton of her recipes and not one has let me down.

Also her website has a lot of IP info and ideas.  She is the BEST!  Her recipe for SALSA CHICKEN THIGHS WITH RICE is my favorite and so easy!

I thought the recipe book AND instructions that came w/ the IP were the worse!

@Respectlife, you wrote just what I was going to write! I love the BJC books and website; Meredith has lots of simple, delicious recipes for pressure cooking (and I also got that Kindle steal for her books Smiley Wink).
