Re: Meat Substitue - Plants

[ Edited ]

Soy is on the "8 most common food allergy" list and many have an intolerance to it as well and wonder why they have certain unable to diagnose symptoms of skin conditions like rosacea, etc.  Soy is the main ingredient in most of these plant based burgers.

That's leave's alot of the population out including myself.  I'll stick to a good preferably "no hormone" iron rich burger or lean steak in moderation of course.

@sidsmom I think we are a party of two understanding that this is a choice now but later thanks to global warming and our ignorance and inaction on making any changes will determin what is avaible to eat.

Thanks for the article it was very interesting.Too bad this country is pretending this isn't happening.

Thanks for contributing!

Seems weird that this month, August, there have been so many

Worldwide initiatives to being the paradigm shift.

This is a good video talking about the dangers of eating bacon:

https://youtu.be/BIotSabF_BQ

They don’t touch on the environment, but human health is important.

Get humans healthy...and the world can get healthy.

They really go hand in hand.

This video explains the process of cholesterol, gut biome...and

even touch on how T2Diabetes works.

Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn brings up the cigarette lobby..and how hard

it was to recognize the dangers of tobacco. And that was tobacco....

now consider the same challenges with inciting the health dangers of meat/dairy/egg/pork/sugar industries...it’s almost insurmountable...

but there’s hope!

He said it best:

The challenges in life that are exciting..the word is going to get out there.

Definitely the word is getting out...it’s being shouted from the rooftops!

I think many of People are not eating healthy  because they eat too many processed foods.  Even a simple dish like mashed potatoes is now made from potato flakes or purchased already made in microwave containers.

What  foods do you buy in a can, jar or box?

I see people with full carts of food sold in boxes and bags from the grocery isles and freezer section.

Food should be eaten in it's purest forms.  By the time veggies, fruits, grains and animal protein hits our table, it has been processed and preserved so that we have no idea what   we are eating or how fresh food should taste.

No one has time to prepare and cook anymore and these convience food are " time savers and life savers..or are they?
