This is my best friends baked bean recipe . I haven't made it in years and years and decided to make it for a 4th of July bbq. It is so good and easy to make.

MANDARIN ORANGE BAKED BEANS

1/2 c chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped celery

1 tablespoon butter

1- 21 oz. can baked beans

1/4 c brown sugar

2 tablespoons catsup

1 1/2 tablespoon orange juice concentrate

1 teaspoon yellow mustard

1- 11 oz. can mandarin oranges

In 2 qt. casserole combine the onion, clerey and butter. Microwave on high for 2 1/2-3 minutes or until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except the oranges. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Mix in the oranges and microwave 1 to 2 minutes more or until thoroughly heated.

Now I did all the above on my stove top in a dutch oven. I also used b(u)sh's baked beans but any will do. Enjoy!!!

For some ridiculous reason, webbie wouldn't let me use the brand name of the beans I used, so if you take the" r " out of brushs, thats the brand I used. Geeez webbie--lighten up!!!!!!!
