Sloppy Joe Casserole
Two words together I like.
1 lb. ground beef
1 diced onion
1 diced green pepper
Salt to taste
1 can tomato soup
1/2 C water
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
A 7 1/2 oz. tube refrigerated biscuits
1/2 C shredded Cheddar cheese
Brown beef w/onion, pepper and salt over medium heat; drain
Stir in soup, water and Worcershire sauce; heat that to a boil.
Spoon beef mixture into a greased 1-1/2 qt. casserole dish.
Arrange biscuits on top of beef mixture around the edges of the dish.
Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, until biscuits are golden.
Sprinkle cheese over biscuits; bake for another 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
Serves 4.
What are you having tonight?

@qualitygal Sounds delicious, thanks for posting, my Mom used to make something similiar to this called "Hungry Jack Casserole", brings back some happy memories!

@CareBears, I love bread, and anyway I can work it in, it's a winner.

We had our kids over for our family Christmas gathering this past Sunday evening. They all like finger foods more than a big sitdown meal so we had:
*Mini Italian Beef Sandwiches (Portillo's copycat recipe)
*Pigs in a Blanket
*Cold Jumbo Shrimp (one of my favorite oximorons, BTW) w/St. Elmo's cocktail sauce on the side (SUPER spicy - I think they overdid the batch this time. I'm going back to making my own from now on)
*Mexican Pinwheels
*Cocktail Meatballs
*Hot Taco Dip
*Jalapeno Popper Dip
We ate leftovers last night but there's still a little beef and a little of the dips left so DH and I will be finishing them off tonight.

Love that sloppy joe casserole. Sometimes I throw in a layer of onion rings or tater tots to really live dangerously.

I am fixing this for dinner and just realized my recipe is different. I will have to try yours sometime as I am sure it is good too. My recipe calls for ground beef, green onions, Mexicorn, and can of sloppy joe mix....then biscuits around.
