Had these last night with a piece of fish. Some cutting involved but worth it!

3 T olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 t finely grated fresh ginger
1 t Chinese five spice powder
1/2 t chili powder
3 large carrots, peeled and cut into matchstick pieces
1 cup fresh green beans, slice diagonally
3 large celery ribs, cut into matchstick pieces
1/2 small head of Napa cabbage, roughly chopped as for slaw
1 t salt or to taste.

Heat oil over medium heat in large fry pan or wok.

When hot add garlic, ginger, five spice and chili powder and stir for 1-2 minutes being careful not to burn garlic. Add carrots, green beans and celery. Stir until vegetables are about 1/2 cooked (2-4 minutes). Add cabbage and continue to toss and cook until all vegetables are tender but still crisp (about 5 minutes). Add salt cover and cook for 2 minutes.

Serve immediately.
