I looked for liquid food coloring at Easter and am still looking.  Everything I find is gel except for some very high priced sets.  Any ideas where I might find? TIA

Just checked Wal-Mart today and they only had gel.  I don't know why I don't think of amazon!

@Twins Mom   Why not use the gel?  I bet you'd get the same or better results

Unlike liquid food colours, gel food colours bring brilliance and clarity of colour without the addition of a lot of unnecessary liquid. Only a few drops of gel colour will give you a the same, or better result than a teaspoon of liquid colour

@Twins Mom, I often find it necessary to go to more than one grocery store to get all I need in the brands I want.

I do see McCormick food coloring readily available in the baking supply area of my grocery stores.

@Twins Mom  While shopping this morning I purposely looked for the liquid food coloring.  At my Publix, they had the gels in the baking section.  In the spice section, next to the vanilla extract and such, they had McCormick liquid, however only in red.

At Wal-Mart, I found no McCormick gels in the baking section, but in their spice section I found the McCormick red liquid and Great Value brand liquid with all 4 colors.  That's all I got!  LOL

Guess I thought the gel would not blend as well in icings, etc made from scratch.  Thanks for suggesting

@Twins Mom   I don't know if you have a Winn Dixie grocery store near you, but this morning I saw they have the gel type in the baking goods section and in the spice section they had the most variety I have seen lately....McCormick brand liquid food coloring in the 4 pack of red, blue, green and yellow....and separate bottles of black, green and yellow.
