I was siting thinking of my mom. My most favorite dish was Chicken and Rice. My grandmother also made it in casserole form. My grandmother was from Eastern Europe, Russia. I say that just in case there is someone out there who could identify with it. It was very moist and I think it did have some tomato sauce in it. I regret not asking for the recipe. It had little spice, as I can remember and may have had some green peppers in it. If anyone has a clue or is familiar could you please post.
