I have tried twice to make this for my husband as it is his favorite desert, and both times I have failed miserably.

The first time I used ladyfingers, barely soaked them, but it still came out soggy. The second time I used sponge cake and it did not turn out well at all.

I'm pretty handy in the kitchen and can turn out awesome cakes, brownies, etc., but I am having one heck of a time trying to make a GREAT Tiramisu he will love.

I've gone on-line and found tons of recipes, but I would love to have one that is tried and true to add to my recipe collection.
