Lime, White Chocolate, Macadamia Nut Cookies

/></span></span><br/> <br/> If you love the flavor of lime-with a touch of white chocolate and macadamia nuts for good measure-then this cookie recipe is for you. The lime flavor really comes through after sitting in an airtight container over night. YUM!<br/> <br/> Carol<br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> <span style=/></span></span><br/> <br/> <br/> <br/> LIME, WHITE CHOCOLATE, MACADAMIA NUT COOKIES<br/> (Source: Nicole @ Baking Bites)<br/> <br/> 2/3 c. butter, room temperature<br/> 1 c. white sugar<br/> 2 large eggs<br/> 1 Tbsp. lime zest (1 large lime)<br/> 2 1/4 c. all purpose flour<br/> 1/2 tsp. baking powder<br/> 1/2 tsp. baking soda<br/> 1/2 tsp. salt<br/> 3/4 c. white chocolate chips<br/> 3/4 c. chopped, toasted macadamia nuts<br/> <br/> Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper, or lightly spray the sheets with nonstick cooking spray.<br/> <br/> In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add lime zest; mix well.<br/> <br/> In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.<br/> <br/> Stir flour mixture into creamed mixture, stirring just until combined. Stir in white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.<br/> <br/> Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto prepared pans, making approximately 1
Bake @ 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes, until cookies begin to brown slightly around the edges.

Cool for 5 minutes on baking sheet; remove to a wire rack to cool completely before storing. Makes about 3-3 1/2 dozen.
