I add white vinegar at the end of the cooking process to my gumbo to amp up the flavor.

My lentil soup is similar to this one. However, I add barley and molasses to mine. Excellent soup! Also had ham. Such a good hearty soup!

I'm going to make lentil soup today...ive posted a recipe last year(if you search it), with veggies and ruby port wine...very hearty, and delicious 😋
