1 pkg Lemon or Golden Oreos  I had no problem finding Lemon Oreos

6 tbsp. butter melted

8oz cream cheese softened

1/2 cup butter softened

1 cup powdered sugar

16 oz container cool whip,  I did whip my own heavy cream.

2 -- 3.9 oz  pkgs of instant lemon pudding

2 1/2 cups milk

lemons for garnish

Crush whole pkg of oreos in food processor till fine mixture put in bowl and add 6 tbsp melted butter and mix till combined.

Press oreo mixture in 9x13 ungreased pan, I just used my fingertips.

In your mixer beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar till well combined then add half the cool whip and mix well

spread the cream cheese mixture on the oreo crust

In a bowl wisk the 2 boxes of pudding and mix till it thickens and spread over cream cheese mixture

Top the pudding with the rest of the cool whip and refregerate a couple of hours

Garnish with lemon slices if you like

I made this and can honestly say it was a delicious light dessert and my family enjoyed it.

I love anything lemon flavored and this sounds delicious. Lots of sugar though.

Yep, but a small slice is all you need.  It's a good cool summer dessert

Golden oreos are my fave and I love lemon pudding.  Gonna give this recipe a try as it appears easy-peasy, i.e., on my cooking level.

@hayseed00.....I have a similar recipe but my crust is melted butter and flour combined, then baked.

It is very refreshing my husband loves it....we call it Lemon Lush...once in a while I use chocolate pudding.
