I just got home from a special event about 3 hours from us. The restaurant we went to served lavender iced tea. It was incredible! I love iced tea and I have had all kinds, but I've never had this. Has anyone else? Do you have instructions for making it?

I don't but after your description I think I'll dig around the Internet and see what I can find! It sounds lovely!

My guess is dried lavender was steeped with the tea.  Be sure to look for food grade lavender when shopping as opposed to a scented lavender for potpourri.

Any chance of contacting the restaurant and asking how the tea is made?

Lavender iced tea sounds wonderful.  I have Young Living lavender essential oil.  Maybe I could try a drop or two of that in my tea.

That's a good idea, but it's a long ways from here. I'm sure it was from their garden. They mentioned their own garden a number of times.

We used to grow lavender. We had that and lemon balm side by side, then the lemon balm just took over! I used to put the leaves in water - never thought about tea!

We also live not too far from a lavender farm. They make soaps, sachets, and such.

I'll do some research - thanks everyone! Smiley Happy
