While out at a restaurant I over heard this man telling another man about a pot roast his wife made and think he said from a RR show. I am sure he said put it in the oven at 550 degrees seasoned with monteray seasoning and leave it on for 20 minutes than turn it off for 3 hours. He said his wife made a 3 lb roast. His exact words were, Oh man was that the best thing I ever ate.
Does this sound familiar to anyone. What is monteray seasoning and how do I use it or are there different ones? thanks, DH loves a good pot roast and can't imagine one that only is in the oven 20 minutes on and 3 hours off, OFF?
