I've tasted GS Trilogy Kombucha and I love it! Just wondering if anyone on the boards has tried it or made it. I need to find a blog for beginning Kombucha makers.

For those who don't know, Kombucha is a fermented sweet tea packed full of probiotics. At $3.50 for a 16 oz bottle it is a bit pricey, however.

Hopefully someone here can provide some direction.

Thanks,

I have a coworker who is making this currently. It takes several days to make a batch as you have to let it ferment. She belongs to an online group as well. Maybe Pinterest??

Be careful as a beginner as she's telling me you can also grow mold in your batch.

Yea, Kombucha is good stuff! I haven't made it myself but I've been the lucky taster to a co-worker that does. She mentioned that she has a starter (scoby or something like that) and she got it from a readymade Kombucha.

She has made many different flavor infusions, with the best being lavender.

I'm sure there are many recipes online. Good luck and fun!

I have been seeing this around because I'm learning to make non-dairy yogurt. I found this site, "Cultures for Health" that is a wealth of information on anything fermented-including teas.
