Know a Mud Soup Recipe?

My CIL mentioned a recipe for "Mud Soup" that she got from MOPS (Mothers of Pre Schoolers). I'm fascinated by the name but couldn't find a recipe on the Internet -- I did find a poem called "Mud Soup." She says it's lentils and black beans but she doesn't still have the recipe. I love bean soups -- anybody have something similar?????
