I love Asian flavors - this is nice little switch on tacos.

1 pound flank steak, cut against the grain into bit size pieces
2 T soy sauce
2 T sugar
2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
2 t toasted sesame oil
3 t water
1 t mirin

1 T soy sauce
1-1/2 t lime juice
1-1/2 t toasted sesame oil
1/4 t sugar

1-1/2 cups romaine lettuce, finely chopped
1 cup nappa cabbage, finely chopped
1/4 cup shredded carrots
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup green onion, diced

Small flour tortillas
Sriracha sauce
Lime wedges

Combine the flank steak and next six ingredients in a zip lock bag. Marinade in fridge for 4 to 24 hours.

Combine soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil and sugar in a small bowl for dressing. Whisk until combined then set aside.

Heat a grill pan (I use a wok) over medium high heat. Oil pan. Cook steak stirring often until meat is cooked to your desired degree of doneness. Remove meat and set aside. Pour marinade into pan and cook on high 2-3 minutes until it has boiled and reduced a little. Pour in over the cooked beef and toss to coat.

Toss the romaine, cabbage, green onion, cilantro and shredded carrots. Drizzle dressing to taste. Toss to coat.

Heat flour tortilla in microwave. Place some flank steak on tortilla followed by salad. Top with sriracha if desired. Serve tacos with lime wedges.
