Apple Chocolate Chip Cake.

Ingredients

• 1 c. vegetable oil
• 2 tbsp. hazelnut oil
• 3 large eggs
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 ¾ c. sugar
• 2 c. all purpose flour
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• ½ tsp. salt
• ½ c. walnuts, chopped
• 12 oz. milk or semi sweet chocolate chips
• 5 or 6 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
• confectioners sugar, to taste

Directions

Preheat oven to 350º. In a large bowl, whisk together oils, eggs, cinnamon and sugar. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir to combine. Fold in walnuts, chocolate chips and apples.

Spread batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes; remove from oven and allow cake to cool completely. Remove from pan and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.

 

I'd do the Krispy Kream donut glaze.

1 C powdered sugar

1 Tbsp melted buter

Few drops of vanilla

Teaspoons of milk to make a pouring consistency.

Stir.

@Jk9,Last year I got our Christmas Day dessert there for a change.

This is the Tuxedo Chocolate Truffle dessert.  I got 3 servings out of each square.  Mega hit!!!  They were less than $4 ea.
